Rid of Parthenium - A Natural Way


Parthenium hyterophorus at Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi has posed a serious health problems leading to respiratory and allergic symptoms in campus inmates. This season, it was observed that natural growth of Cassia tora and Cassia occidentalis replace the weed on roadside and wastelands. Interestingly, few remains of weed were attacked severly by Parthenium Beetle and all stages of this insect were observed on this weed.
